Erie Shore Retrievers will be demonstrating their amazing Field Dogs' Retrieving skills. This is a very disciplined sport requiring a special retriever to understand what is asked of them and do what they do best - scent detection and retrieve.
We're excited to have them!

Our training philosophy is simple. We work with the dog in front of us utilizing positive training methods. There is never any force, pain, or fear involved in our training as it is not necessary to achieve the desired results. We want our dogs to be willing participants in our relationship. After all, our dogs are our best friends and love us unconditionally. We owe it to them to reciprocate that trust and build our relationship together. All of our programs and activities are designed to fulfill your dog's mental, physical and social well being.

This is a timed event that will test your dog's ability to ignore distractions.
Three categories of dogs - small, medium and large - 1st place prize in each category.

Elite Shed Dog Demonstration
Each spring, antler shed hunters utilize dogs to locate and retrieve sheds in the fields and forests of North America. This new sport challenges dog's natural and trained scenting, tracking and retrieving abilities. Shed hunting dogs have dramatically gained in popularity over the last decade.

We have a Funtastic Festival planned for animal lovers of all ages. But the best thing about Woofa~Roo Pet Fest is our charitable component. We have several events which will benefit our charities located on Adoption Circle at the entrance of the Libro Center. Our rescues / charities are always looking for volunteers, forever homes and foster homes. Please check them out !

Lure Coursing
Many dogs love the thrill of the chase, not just sighthounds. It doesn’t matter if your dog is a small terrier, a Labrador Retriever or a mixed breed, if they love to chase things, they will love lure coursing!
Fee to run the lure course is $10.00 per run.

Dynamic Dock Dogs
Watch Dogs fly as they launch themselves off a 40 foot dock into a 28,000 gallon swimming pool. These are amazing K9 athletes converging on Amherstburg to compete in dock diving!
